CONGA CALIENTE

WHERE: Al Lopez Park

Get the whole family dancing at Conga Caliente Festival, a Latino music and cultural celebration. Catch show-stopping music performances by Latin American greats in a vivid display of heritage pride. Festival-goers can also enjoy the variety of traditional cuisine on show as well as the beer garden, arts & crafts village, domino tournament, health pavilion and more.

GASPARILLA MUSIC FEST

WHERE: Curtis Hixon Water Front Park

Every year, the Gasparilla Music Festival puts on a concert in the downtown area of Tampa, Florida, to celebrate the continued support for music promotion and education. The festival features a lineup of artists that span multiple genres and spotlights both established and lesser-known acts. Guests can also sample cuisine from a number of local restaurants participating as vendors during this event.

SUNSET MUSIC FESTIVAL 

WHERE: Raymond James Stadium

As a growing key player in the Florida electronic scene, Sunset Music Festival brings big name artists to Raymond James Stadium each Memorial Day weekend. As one of the largest events in Tampa Bay, Sunset brings in crowds of over 50,000 attendees to the area. With costumed-clad performing artists and colorful stages, Sunset Music Festival basks in the Florida sunshine.

TAMPA BAY BLACK HERITAGE FESTIVAL

WHERE: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival (TBBHF/The Festival) is a ten-day cultural event that features speakers, musicians, artists, poets and craftspeople locally and nationally. The festival traditionally begins the week-end before and concludes the week-end after the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday to promote diversity and cultural sensitivity. Each day of this ten-day experience provides both children and adults with an opportunity to increase their awareness of African and African-American culture and history. This event strives to increase diversity and cultural sensitivity.
