New immersive coaster activation showcases Tampa Bay’s bold attractions

Tampa, FL (August 29, 2024) – Visitors driving to Florida can get a preview of the thrills awaiting them at Tampa Bay’s signature theme park as well as the rest of the region’s unique treasures by experiencing Visit Tampa Bay’s newest activation space at the Visit FLORIDA Welcome Center just four miles north of Jennings on I-75 South.

The refurbished Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay’s Sand Serpent roller coaster car now proudly carries the Visit Tampa Bay brand and takes visitors on a journey through the heart of Florida’s Gulf Coast showcasing footage not just of a thrilling coaster ride, but of the exquisite art, culture and gastronomic adventures that one can experience throughout Hillsborough County.

Visitors headed south on I-75 can stop by for a ride and see all the treasures that await them when they reach Tampa Bay. Headed north? Visitors can pop in to relive all the remarkable experiences they just had. Coming or going, Tampa Bay tempts adventurous spirits and rekindles that sense of wonder that makes it a world-class location for those seeking a trip that is out of the ordinary.
