VISIT TAMPA BAY SERVES UP A FRESH GASTRONOMIC MENU
Visit Tampa Bay launches “Tampa’s Table: Season 2” and new culinary campaigns celebrating local flavor
Tampa, FL (November 14, 2025) – Visit Tampa Bay is amping up the flavor with the launch of Tampa’s Table: Season 2, released on November 13—the next chapter in its celebrated culinary storytelling podcast series. The new season, again hosted by Jeff Houck, Vice President of Marketing for 1905 Family of Restaurants, continues to spotlight the local tastemakers—from chefs and brewers to farmers and innovators—whose stories shape Tampa Bay’s flavor and flair and represents the latest in Visit Tampa Bay’s portfolio of culinary-centered productions showcasing the region’s latest dining creations.
Just last month, Visit Tampa Bay, in partnership with TECO Peoples Gas, launched a three-part video series featuring beloved local restaurants Ulele, Mad Dogs and Englishmen, and Ash. Each episode brings viewers behind the scenes as chefs prepare signature dishes and share the benefits of cooking with gas. The collaboration highlights Tampa Bay’s culinary diversity, innovation, and passion for bold flavor and creativity.
Adding another layer of storytelling, Visit Tampa Bay is producing the Savoring Tampa Film Series, a short-form docuseries capturing the people, culture, and flavors shaping Tampa Bay’s culinary identity. Each 10–15-minute episode blends rich visuals and local voices to reveal why Tampa Bay stands among America’s most talked-about food destinations. Set to premiere weekly in early 2026 on YouTube through Visit Tampa Bay and Film Tampa Bay channels, the ten-episode series will feature local watch parties, influencer partnerships, and social cross-promotion. Potential episode topics include “The Cuban Sandwich Wars,” “Michelin Moves South,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” “Immigrant Kitchens,” and “Taste of Tomorrow”—each a flavor-filled tribute to the city’s ever-evolving dining landscape.
“Tampa Bay’s culinary scene has evolved into one of the most exciting in the country, and these projects give visitors a front-row seat to that transformation,” said Santiago C. Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. “Food is one of the most powerful ways to experience our destination—it creates community by connecting people, heritage, and creativity. Through these collaborations, we’re showcasing the passion, innovation, and artistry that make dining in Tampa Bay more than a meal—it’s an experience that tells the story of who we are.”
In collaboration with Rachel Covello of Covello Consulting, Visit Tampa Bay is also producing Plant to Palette to Plate, a four-part video series following seasonal ingredients from urban farms to artist studios to restaurant kitchens. Each episode focuses on a “hero ingredient,” meeting the grower, watching an artist interpret the ingredient through visual art, and ending with a chef creating a signature dish inspired by both. Each story concludes with a tasting and a call to action, inviting viewers to savor Tampa Bay’s creative culinary community firsthand. Long-form episodes will live on Visit Tampa Bay’s digital channels, while short-form teasers and influencer engagement through Rachel Covello’s platforms will drive audiences back to YouTube.
Together, these tasty initiatives underscore Visit Tampa Bay’s commitment to telling the stories that make the destination a feast for the senses. By blending food, art, culture, and community, Visit Tampa Bay continues to elevate the region’s reputation as a place where creativity thrives and every bite tells a story. From visionary chefs and local growers to passionate culinary creators and storytellers, Tampa Bay’s table is set for the world to experience—and there’s always a seat waiting.
