Our story begins with a husband-and-wife team who prayed and asked God for direction on a business venture. Our love for food and especially “Sweets” aka Desserts started us working on a recipe for pound cake.
We started experimenting with different ingredients and combinations which resulted in the moistiest-creamiest-melt-in-your-mouth pound cake that reminded us both of our “Grandmas’ Sweetbread”.
The wife’s grandma was named “Mama Candy” and often reminded the husband of “Oh how sweet” she was. It was only fitting our product Candy’s “Gourmet” Sweetbreads would be named after her.
We take pride in knowing that our Mama Candy’s inspired recipe continues to delight taste buds across the country.
