Visit Tampa Bay Welcomes New Director of Partner Development
Maggie Webber

Tampa, FL (September 19, 2022) – Visit Tampa Bay welcomes Maggie Webber as its new Director of Partner Development. Maggie is contracted to recruit new partners and work to implement Visit Tampa Bay’s new partnership initiatives to continue to build a more inclusive partnership community.

Before joining the Visit Tampa Bay team, Maggie served as the Director of Development at Tampa Theatre since 2017. As Director of Development, she helped raise over $12 million during her tenure to support the general operations of the theatre and complete the first capital campaign for the Theatre’s Phase I restoration. When she joined the Tampa Theatre team in 2015 as its Director of Annual Giving, she supervised the annual giving program and managed a portfolio with over 2,000 members and 1,500 individual donors and sponsors. Webber’s work spans across the Tampa Bay area, where she worked as the Manager of Social Memberships at Ruth Eckerd Hall, to New York where she served as Public Affairs Associate at Carnegie Hall and Executive Assistant at Fox News Channel.

“Through Maggie’s extensive experience in corporate giving and partnership management, she will bring the right tools to grow our partnership base,” says Santiago C. Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. “Tampa Bay’s economic and cultural development continues to grow by sustaining our current partnerships and bringing in team members like Maggie who can nurture new significant partnerships within our community.”

Webber is a graduate of the University of Florida where she earned a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and received her master's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University.

“It is an honor to join the Visit Tampa Bay team and be a part of an organization that continues to put Tampa Bay tourism ahead of the curve,” says Webber. “I am excited to help tell the stories of our great partners and continue to grow our partnership community."
