Amalie Arena

Grab a bite at nearby Sparkman Wharf on your way to a show at downtown’s star indoor concert venue. When the hometown Tampa Bay Lightning are away from the ice, the 22,000-seat arena hosts dozens of concerts each year along with spectacular performances by Disney on Ice or Cirque du Soleil troupes. You can walk to the show from hundreds of hotel rooms located on the Tampa Riverwalk.

 

 

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

Situated near the midpoint on the Tampa Riverwalk, this 8-acre festival park in the heart of downtown brings the music to the people with open-air concerts all year round, including monthly Rock the Park concerts. Music lovers flock to Gasparilla Music Festival each March, part of Tampa Bay’s 8-week-long Gasparilla Season.

 

 

Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre

Outdoor concerts are on tap all year at the Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa Bay’s largest outdoor music venue. Situation east of downtown between the Florida State Fairgrounds and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the Amp holds nearly 20,000, half of them on the lawn.

Raymond James Stadium

The home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers doubles as Tampa Bay’s biggest place to see the biggest names in music. Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Kenny Chesney have all filled the stadium with cheering fans.
