Meacham Urban Farm
Kick off the 2023-2024 veggie season here in Tampa, FL with Meacham Urban Farm's first annual Harvest Fest on Sunday, October 1st, noon-6pm! There will be extended Farm Store hours, local artisanal vendors, a pig roast (vegan option available too), educational farm talks, guided farm tours, a full petting zoo, live music and more!
1x Admission per person includes: viewing of the petting zoo, guided farm tours, educational farm talks, Harvest Fest photo opportunity, fun yard games and live music from noon - 6pm.
Additional FUN available inside: (bring cash or card to purchase tickets for the following) access the inside of the petting zoo area and see the animals up close and personal, chow down on a sandwich early on crafted with local ingredients, then fill up on a locally raised and smoked pig roast platter including pork, 2 locally grown sides plus dinner roll or enjoy a locally made BBQ jackfruit platter including 2 vegan sides and dinner roll and then take a risk to win the 50/50 raffle.
Freshly fried donuts from Supernatural Food and Wine and other amazing local artisans will be set up offering wonderful local Fall goods and goodies for purchase as well as our Farm Store for veggie shopping. Come ready to shop and support local vendors!
- A "Goodies Check" will be available during the event to hold purchased goods, including groceries in our walk-in cooler, so you can enjoy the event without worrying about your items
There will be NO alcohol for purchase at this event.
Event Timeline:
Gates open at NOON.
1:30pm: Guided Farm Tour
2pm: Educational Talk: The Creation of Meacham
3:30: Guided Farm Tour
4pm: Educational Talk: How We Farm at Meacham
5:30pm: Guided Farm Tour
6pm: Thank Yous and 50/50 Raffle Winner Announced
Petting Zoo (noon-4pm)
Local vendors, Meacham Farm Store, live music, and food available (noon-6pm)
PARKING: Our parking lot on the farm will be closed for this event. Please find street parking on the perimeter streets of the farm or use the parking garages adjacent from the farm in both of the Tempo and Ella buildings, bottom floor only. (plenty of spots available, ~5 min walk).
Again, bring your own lawn chair + BYOB.
Wear your casual FL Fall attire! There will be pumpkins.
