Tour "the Harlem of the South," Tampa's Central Avenue district. Learn about life in Tampa's African-American community from the 1890s to the 1960s with stops including the Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Library, Jackson House, and Perry Harvey, Sr. Park. This Central Avenue Walking Tour is scheduled for 10–11:30 a.m. on June 10. Advance tickets are required, and each tour is limited to 25 participants, who will walk approximately 1 mile. Please wear comfortable shoes and attire for walking outside.
