Join us for an artist talk with Manitoba photographer Tim Smith as he shares insights from his 15-year journey documenting the Hutterites, a communal, pacifist Anabaptist group living across western Canada and the northwestern U.S. Smith will discuss the stories behind his powerful images, the relationships he built within the colonies, and the unique challenges and rewards of photographing a community that lives apart from mainstream society.
