American Society of Abdominal Surgeons
This program is a combination of live feed, interactive surgery; panel discussion; lectures; poster sessions; and round table discussions. The program is designed for the practicing abdominal/general surgeon, Residents, PA's, ARNP's, and all physicians and medical staff in other medical specialties interested in abdominal pathology, diagnosis and treatment.
Special attention will be given by presenters to assist the attendees in gaining information in current skill practice attitudes, as well as, increasing and expanding their knowledge for implementation of newer and safer techniques in abdominal surgery and other disciplines of medicine. Being our clinical congress, other specialties and subject matter directly and indirectly associated with abdominal surgery will also be addressed.
The American Society of Abdominal Surgeons endeavors to find ways to determine what if any behavioral changes and outcomes in practice have been effected through our CME program. The activity's participants are expected to evaluate the material presented, determine how they can apply it and consequently provide better care and outcomes for their patients through physician's knowledge and ability.
