The 10th Anniversary Celebration YES! Family Abilities Information Rally (F.A.I.R.) hosted by YES! of America United, in partnership with Hillsborough County and sponsored by the Tampa
Bay Times and AQInterpreting Services, will be held Saturday Oct. 7th, 2017 at All People’s Life Center.

Representatives from the Hillsborough County Commissioners will open the F.A.I.R. with a welcome and proclamation. They will be joined by more than 200 community partners and exhibitors who will help enrich, educate and empower the over 2000 expected participants. The general public is cordially invited to celebrate inclusive diversity with us.

The F.A.I.R. is a FREE family friendly community event. We want to help all people fully participate in as many activities as they can at the F.A.I.R. and in their community. People of all ages and abilities can visit exhibits with games and giveaways, while having fun learning about programs, products and services useful to them. Food will be available for purchase from a diverse variety of food trucks.

Our theme this year is SUPER HEROES and as an added feature we will recognize 10 SUPER HEROES nominated by people from our community at the F.A.I.R. We are encouraging vendors and the public to come in their Super Heroes outfits. It will be crazy and fun.

Our celebration will include many demonstrations, exhibitors, and showcase a variety of super talented performances. We will feature Jeremy Ewbank Entertainment, the SACA Golden Dragon Dancers, Sign of Da Times, Pyramid Players the VA Together As One Drummers, and many new young talents.

Both “Safety Street” and “Enterprise Village” are moving indoors. “Safety Street” is a special area highlighting what’s available to help keep you and your family safe. NEW this year, to help you with any hearing related issues, we are adding “Hearing Health”.

This YES! F.A.I.R. has something for everyone: There will be singing, dancing and music throughout the day, you can visit Santa, get a haircut, see and touch a fire truck, visit Enterprise Village-a special area for micro-enterprise vendors, donate blood, register to vote, get a massage, all while you interact with royalty and many playful mascots and super heroes. Other favorite activities returning: arts and crafts, face painting, sensitivity obstacle course, bounce house, petting zoo, demos on sign language and Braille, get a free book, do crafts like a bracelet from Tandy Leather and, of course, door prizes and a silent auction with lots of unique items.

Anyone wishing to know more – sponsors, exhibitors, participants, volunteers and silent auction donors are encouraged to visit our website www.yesunited.org Learn more about this huge FREE premier event that includes all of our citizens state-wide.
