VISIT TAMPA BAY RENEWS PARTNERSHIP
WITH BRENTFORD FC
Visit Tampa Bay will continue to be Club’s North American Destination Partner for 2025/2026 Premier League Season
Tampa, FL (Sep. 11, 2025) – Visit Tampa Bay and Brentford FC are pleased to announce the continuation of the relationship for a third season as VTB remains the club’s North American Destination Partner.
With a continued focus on fans, the partnership will include a range of activities designed to engage supporters of all ages and bring the Tampa Bay fun and sunshine to west London. Highlights include the Visit Tampa Bay Matchday Takeover at the Gtech Community Stadium with Tampa food, pirate treasure, VIP tickets for fans, and the chance for one fan to win a trip to Tampa Bay.
Additionally, Visit Tampa Bay retains access to player content creation, social media and digital marketing campaigns, plus support from the club when hosting events in Tampa Bay for US-based Brentford fans.
The renewal comes after a successful first two seasons of the partnership which has seen two Tampa Bay Takeovers, Brentford’s mascot Buzz flying over to enjoy everything Tampa Bay including Busch Gardens and the Tampa Riverwalk and three sets of fans winning trips to the destination on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Ensuring fans came to understand Tampa Bay by either visiting themselves, hearing from fellow fans or learning through innovative content is key to the strategy and the success of the partnership. The accessibility of the destination from the UK with two daily direct flights as well as why and how to book a holiday is a central message throughout all activity.
Visit Tampa Bay have also been active in raising money for the club’s Heart of West London charity partnership. Brentford players were invited to a painting workshop with Tampa-based artist Dylan Perry to create three expressive pieces of ‘art with a heart’. The unique artworks were auctioned by the club with all proceeds donated to fund groundbreaking research into preventing young cardiac death at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity, based in west London. Additionally, Brentford players had the chance to enjoy Tampa’s pirate history with a treasure hunt around the stadium.
Brentford FC Head of Partnership Services, Adam Ward, said: “Brentford stands out in the Premier League because we give our fans a top-class matchday experience. Visit Tampa Bay have been fantastic in taking this to another level.
We love seeing our fans faces when they win a holiday at the Gtech as VIPs. Visit Tampa Bay help make our matchdays special, so we’re very happy that they are renewing with us for a third season.”
Santiago C. Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay commented: “We are proud to renew the partnership with Brentford FC after two successful seasons with activity happening both in Tampa and in the UK.
