Visit Tampa Bay opens new online store

On offer: gear geared to fans of Florida’s fastest-growing tourism brand
TAMPA (Sept. 21, 2016) – Tampa Bay fans have a new place to find their favorite branded merchandise and show their love for Florida’s fastest-growing tourism destination.
The new store is available through Visit Tampa Bay’s homepage at shop.visittampabay.com
“Our iconic brand has caught the imagination of Tampa Bay fans,” said Santiago Corrada, President & CEO of Visit Tampa Bay, which markets Hillsborough County tourism. “We’re always getting requests for branded items, so we created our store to make select items available to the public. They’re a great-looking way to spread the word about Tampa Bay.”
Each item in the store carries the Visit Tampa Bay logo – a keyhole above two crossed keys -- designed as a winking reference the Jolly Roger pirate flag that figures so prominently in Tampa Bay’s annual Gasparilla festival. The award-winning logo also suggests a pirate chest, which connects it to the brand’s tagline “Treasure Awaits.”
