Visit Tampa Bay hosts Florida’s biggest travel-industry trade show

TAMPA (Jan. 26, 2016) – The travel industry comes to Tampa Bay this week for deal-making and news-breaking as Visit Tampa Bay hosts Florida Huddle, the state’s largest travel-industry trade show, at the Tampa Convention Center Jan. 26-28.
Visit Florida, which operates Florida Huddle, expect more than 650 attendees – a list that includes Florida destinations, tour operators and other industry professionals, and media. Florida Huddle last visited Tampa Bay in 2008.
“We are deeply honored to host our fellow travel-industry professionals here in Tampa Bay,” said Santiago Corrada, president and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay, the non-profit company that promotes tourism in Hillsborough County. “With great food, fun attractions and new flights from Europe, Tampa Bay has been rising steadily among Florida vacation destinations. Hosting Florida Huddle lets us show our industry colleagues all the experiences that make this an exciting, unique place to visit.”
Florida Huddle kicks off tonight (Tuesday) with an invitation-only event at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The rest of the week includes deal-making on the trade show floor and tours for visiting media of Tampa Bay’s top landmarks for culture, food and outdoor activities.
