Tampa Bay visits London

Visit Tampa Bay President and CEO Santiago Corrada joined other leaders of Tampa Bay’s tourism industry and Florida Gov. Rick Scott in London this week at the Airline Strategy Awards. Joe Lopano, CEO of Tampa International Airport, presented the award in the Low-Cost Carrier category. Corrada, Lopano and David Downing, Executive Director of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater also met with representatives of British Airways to discuss opportunities to build further on the Tampa Bay region’s strongest international market. They also met with Virgin Atlantic to discuss the potential for new nonstop flights to Tampa Bay.
