Tampa Bay restaurants join OneOrlando Fund project

TAMPA (June 30, 2016) -- Eleven Tampa Bay restaurants will join "Dine Out for Orlando United" on June 30 to support the victims and families affected by the recent shooting in Orlando. They are joining restaurants from across Florida in the project that will raise money during this day-long event.
All proceeds will be donated to the OneOrlando Fund, created to provide financial support for victims and their families.
"We were all affected by the tragedy in Orlando," said Santiago Corrada, president and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. "This will be a great opportunity for Tampa Bay restaurants, their employees and guests to make a difference in the lives of those directly impacts by this incident."
Led by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association in partnership with Visit Florida, the fundraiser encourages guests to dine at participating restaurants and/or make a direct donation. Employees can work a shift, volunteer their time or donate part of their tips
