Fly Chix is a fast casual restaurant located on Bay Street at International Plaza Tampa. From the food, music and restaurant design, Fly Chix is based on Chef Essi culinary journey. Made from scratch served on the fly is the motto. Chicken is brined and marinated for at least 24 hours before being hand breaded in a custom breading mix made of different spices and seasoning. All of the sauces and soulful sides are prepared fresh daily. The menu consists of 6 regional sandwiches representing each city Chef Essi lived in or frequently traveled to. Chicken tenders and bone in chicken. Definitely need to save room for dessert, Fly Chix milk shake bar serves up the custom hand spun milkshakes like Fruity Pebble, Peanut butter and Jelly, or Apple Pie just to name a few.
