Crystal River Watersports is a small family owned business that specializes in manatee tours and ecotourism. We offer private and semi-private manatee tours, Catboat tours, scuba diving and instruction, mermaiding, and in-season scalloping. Join us as we take our guests out to observe and preserve the beautiful Nature Coast of Florida throughout Crystal River and its amazing springs.

We have boats booked with a maximum of 6 guests to ensure a semi-private experience as well as a boat that can carry up to 10 guests for larger groups and we’ll even coordinate multiple boats for bigger parties who all want to go out together. Each tour has a Coast Guard licensed captain and in-water guide. We provide all in-water gear including a wetsuit, mask, snorkel and a flotation device. We promote sustainable eco tourism and are a Guardian Guide approved tour company by the Save the Manatees Club. If you are interested in scuba diving, we offer PADI and SSI certification up to the professional level. We offer guided dives to Rainbow River, Devil's Den, Blue Grotto, Manatee Springs, and Paradise Springs. We also host scuba trips that travel to dive locations in FL and beyond, including international destinations!

Starting on July 1, we offer Private Scalloping Charters. Snorkel the clear waters of the Gulf for the tastiest mollusks you can find. It's an underwater scavenger hunt that the whole family can enjoy. We also offer mermaiding experiences and classes, and our newest addition, Catboat tours for the most fun, zippiest way to experience the Crystal River waterways! In addition, we have a small marina with boat ramp and some overnight dockage. Bait & tackle also available.
