CELEBRATING ARTISTIC EXCHANGE BETWEEN

TAMPA BAY & LONDON

To celebrate another year of partnership between Visit Tampa Bay and the London Art Fair, UK artist Rose Electra Harris will be creating a Tampa Bay inspired installation at the London Art Fair in 2026. Rose won the recent “Your Inspiration Awaits in Tampa Bay” UK artist call-out and after spending time immersing herself in the colour, culture and creativity in the destination will be creating a unique piece at this prestigious art show in January.

The mural Evangeline’s Feast by Tristan Eaton is a collage-style tribute located on the wall facing the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, weaving together classical imagery, restaurant history and pop-surreal detail in one sweeping visual feast.

EXPLORING TAMPA BAY’S

PUBLIC ART AND MURALS

Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Tampa Bay is where vibrant arts, diverse cultures and sunshine-filled days come together. From Cuban heritage and historic neighbourhoods to waterfront views, award-winning cuisine, hidden galleries and a thriving arts scene – this is a destination designed to stir the soul.

Over the past decade, Tampa has experienced a mural renaissance, transforming blank walls into captivating works of art. These large-scale paintings reflect the city’s history, celebrate its diverse communities, and add character to local neighbourhoods. Today there are over 300 public art installations dotted across the city, showcasing the melting pot of culture that Tampa has become.

Recently UK artist Hells Gibson has created a mural in downtown Tampa as part of her 50 States Flowers Grow In project.

LONDON ART FAIR PANEL

For anyone attending the London Art Fair please check out:  Art Without Borders — Visit Tampa Bay Panel | Thursday 22 January 2026 | 2:30pm - 3:15pm

Presented in partnership with Visit Tampa Bay, this panel explores how travel and place shape artistic practice. From the historic Grand Tour to today’s global residencies and public art commissions, artistic journeys have long sparked new ideas, perspectives, and collaborations.

Join Santiago C. Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay, and artist Rose Electra Harris, who was selected by Visit Tampa Bay for their UK-artist opportunity to travel to Tampa and produce a wall painting at London Art Fair in response to the culture, history, art, and inspiration found in the destination. Together, with invited speakers, they reflect on how crossing borders fuels creativity, fosters unexpected encounters, and connects audiences to the wider world through contemporary art.

The conversation will consider the differing artistic “currencies” of place - from street art to institutional commissions - and how artists translate cultural experiences into work that resonates far beyond its point of origin.
