Explore Culture and Art through the Tempus Projects
The Tempus Projects is the perfect place for new and established art lovers to explore various exhibitions and events. It provides an outlet for local, national and international artists to bring their visions to Tampa Bay. Its goal is to engage the community through the visual arts. Opening this Saturday is Suns. Moons. Stars. Dreams. and is free to the public. The work is done by artist Kalup Linzy and includes a collection of collages, videos and photography. His work has been shown at various locations in New York, but this event will include new works that he created while at the Tempus Projects Artist Residency Program. Come explore an artist’s atmosphere without having to leave Tampa.
Opening reception: May 21, 2016, 7 to 10pm
Free and open to the public. Donations are always welcome.

Good brews and Good music: Coppertail Brewing Co.
Venture over to Ybor for a home-brewed beer from the Coppertail Brewing Co. All of their beer is brewed and bottled in Tampa, so you know you’re getting an authentic experience. They produce four core beers year round and specialty beers throughout the year. Brewery tours are available at certain times for only $7 and include a beer to enjoy during the tour and a pint glass to take home. Adamo Drive Mural Project Designed and produced by Michael Parker along with local community college volunteers, this mural has three different themes and is focused on the legacy of Ybor City and Tampa as a whole. Bern’s Steak House Facing Howard Avenue there is a massive mural on Bern’s Steak House. Los Angeles artist Tristan Eaton covered the wall with a painting of Bern’s history, founder and some employees. True to Bern’s, he included the iron work in the restaurant and wine bottles. Viva Ybor Artist Chico Garcia has created a mural along E Seventh Ave. that includes the minarets that are staples to the University of Tampa campus, Vicente Martinez Ybor, a street car, among many more items that are special to Tampa Bay. Right down the road is The Blind Tiger Café, so grab a cup of coffee and wander outside to explore the mural for yourself. Location: 1909 E SEVENTH AVE.

Tampa Postcard If you wanted to send a postcard to your friends and family while visiting Tampa, but you just didn’t get around to buying one then stop by the mural on N Florida Avenue for a life size postcard. Inside the letters of Tampa are paintings of items unique to the city. It is a great photo opportunity for your visit and is right across from Fly Bar, an urban bar and restaurant. William F. Poe Parking Garage Muralists Tes One and Bask have transformed the William F. Poe Parking garage. Centered around some of Tampa’s most notable buildings such as Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Tampa Riverwalk, John F. Ballast Point Park
If you’re looking for the perfect spot to see spectacular views of the Tampa skyline, then this is the place to go. The park includes activities for everyone including a boat ramp, fishing pier, picnic shelters, gazebo, a playground and water park. There is even a restaurant, Taste of Boston, that features New England style waterfront seafood dining. The views alone are worth the trip to the park. The pier was recently restored and renovations included a new playground, splash pad and walkways. It’s the perfect place to end a long day of touring and watch the sunset over the skyline.
