COVID-19 UPDATES

 

UPDATE: Effective Friday, June 19, the City of Tampa requires face masks in all indoor locations outside the home when residents are unable to maintain a six-foot separation from others. Exceptions include:

  • children under 2 years
  • while eating and drinking
  • while maintaining physical distancing at a minimum of 6 feet apart

Get Tested

Hillsborough County significantly expanded its point-in-time testing for COVID-19 coronavirus. This means that anyone who wants to be tested can pre-register to get tested for free at community sites. Here are answers to basic questions about community testing. 

 

 

Mask Recommendation

Hillsborough County leaders are recommending everyone follow the most recent CDC advisory urging people to wear masks when visiting the grocery store, take-out restaurants or other essential businesses to reduce the potential for the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
