1. Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage – Saturday, July 3, 2010

2. 3rd Annual GaYBOR Days- June 30- July 5, 2010
Visit Historic Ybor City June 30 thru July 5th for the 3rd Annual GaYBOR Days! Brunch, BINGO, Movies, Health Fair, Bar Crawl, Pool Party & more.

3. Busch Gardens : Firework Finale – July 3- 4, 2010
On July 3 and 4, the skies over Busch Gardens fill with fireworks right after Kinetix. Prime viewing spots include Gwazi Park and the Timbuktu area.

4. Jackson’s 4th of July Firework Display – July 3, 2010
Celebrate the 4th of July at Jackson’s on the 3rd of July with our fireworks display.  DJ Tony Puccio will be playing and table reservations are available through Pied Piper Productions at 813-265-1234.  We are dog friendly, so bring your best friend with you for brunch, lunch, dinner or happy hour!

5. Clearwater Celebrates America at Coachman Park- July 4, 2010
Clearwater Celebrates America, the city’s annual Independence Day celebration, will take place Sunday, July 4 in Coachman Park, 301 Drew St. The festival is free and will feature the Mostly Pops Orchestra with John and Mary K. Wilson, a fantastic fireworks display, craft show, children’s activities, and food and drink concessions. Gates open at 4 p.m. The Mostly Pops Orchestra begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Coachman Park is located in downtown Clearwater. For more information, call (727) 562-4700.

6. Tampa Bay History Museum is FREE for the 4th – July 4, 2010
The Tampa Bay History Center is celebrating Independence Day by offering free admission on the 4th of July. Made possible by Bank of America, everyone can enjoy free admission to the History Center's exhibit galleries, with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. When the sun goes down, the History Center’s waterfront Terrace and air-conditioned Atrium are the perfect spots to watch the Channelside fireworks display. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. Enjoy a cool beverage at the Columbia Cafe, explore the downtown Riverwalk or bring a blanket and spread out in Cotanchobee Park, just outside the History Center’s front door.

7. Tampa Bay Rowdies Fireworks- July 4, 2010
With World Cup fever among us this is the perfect weekend to check out a professional soccer game in your own backyard. The FC Tampa Bay Rowdies will take on rival Miami FC in July 4th soccer game at George M. Steinbrenner Field at 7:00 p.m. There will be a spectacular fireworks show to follow the game. 8. Channelside 4th of July Fireworks- July 4, 2010

9. Free Double Tree Cookies – July 4, 2010

On the First and Fourth of July, two days filled with fun, fireworks and patriotic traditions, Doubletree Hotels is offering the “sweet treat” of complimentary, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies to anyone who walks into any of its more than 200 locations on Canada Day and Independence Day.  No purchase is necessary.  Limit one fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie per person.  People may simply walk into any Doubletree hotel between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, July 1 at Canadian Doubletree hotels and Sunday, July 4 at U.S. Doubletree locations to be welcomed with a delicious, warm chocolate chip cookie to commemorate each country’s beloved holiday, while supplies last.
