Guess what...you can get in the Fair for free today after 4pm!!! Hey everyone! Travis back with some Tampa Bay entertainment information. Here you go:
For the second year in a row, the Florida State Fair honors Veterans and provides FREE admission after 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 11th to ALL FAIR VISITORS. Senior citizens ages 55 and older can also get in for reduced admission earlier on this day for $6 during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be a special 6pm musical performance inside the Sweetbay Entertainment Hall to salute all Veterans in attendance. Acts scheduled to perform include the Celebrate! show tribute artists, Dennis Lee, Candy Coburn and the Blues Brothers band.
So, get out there and enjoy the Fair...for FREE after 4pm. Plus, there are more specials to take advantage of at this year's fair...take a look -
(1) the Coupon Value Book which contains 70 coupons with more than $500 in savings on foods and merchandise inside the fair. As of Thursday, February 11th through the last day of the fair, the Coupon Value Book can be purchased at a discounted price of $4 each (a savings of 20% off regular price). (2) On Friday, February 12th AFTER 4 P.M., children (ages 6 and older) in grades kindergarten through 12th grade that reside in Hillsborough county will get free admission to enter the fair.
(3) On Monday, February 15th is another student day with reduced admission or free admission for those students that reside in Pinellas, Polk, Manatee and Sarasota counties with a free student ticket provided by the Florida State Fair to the public schools in those counties. Students must bring their free tickets for use on this day and redeem it at the gate before 5 p.m.
