The top-ranked and top-seeded Nittany Lions (37-0), the two-time defending NCAA champions on a 100-match winning streak, lost their first set against Hawaii at the St. Pete Times Forum but won the next three in Thursday night's national semifinals.  Nittany Lions coach Russ Rose was presented with his 1,000th career victory.

They will meet No. 2-ranked and No. 2-seeded Texas (29-1) on Saturday — a finale between the teams that have been Nos. 1 and 2 in the polls all season. The Longhorns overwhelmed Minnesota in the first match of the evening and will face a Penn State looking for an unprecedented third straight national title.

St Pete Times Forum tickets are $30 and can be purchased by clicking click here, calling 813-301-2500 or by logging on to www.sptimesforum.com.
