Well my friends, the day I had been waiting all of my life for finally arrived this past Friday!  Okay, so maybe not all of my life, more like the last few months. In case you haven't heard, the long awaited day of the Apple IPhone was finally upon us.

I was up bright and early that morning at 5 a.m. outside of International Plaza at Bay Street with a few hundred other of my Mac brethren. IPhone at International PlazaThe kind people at Apple were in fine form as they were passing out coffee, water, and donuts to those of us patiently waiting in line for the mall doors to open.  I can't really say the wait was all that bad as, I know some people experienced longer wait times around mid-day.  I had no complaints though as once the store opened up at 8:00 a.m., I was out of there by 9:30 p.m.

As far as the actual IPhone goes, its as cool as I expected it to be.  The app store is probably my favorite part as I can go to ITunes and purchase cool apps for my phone.  There are even some apps in there from a few of our Tampa Bay & Company Partners like Travelocity and  industry friends like TripAdvisor.  There are of course tons more features, but I will leave that up to you guys to go to the Apple website or visit the store the get an up close and personal view.

Apple IPhone Unveiling at International Plaza at Bay StreetIf you haven't gotten around to getting one or are looking to do so, Tampa Bay has two Apple Stores that have them on sale , but I would suggest checking their respective locations for availability:
If you go by International Plaza and get your phone, be sure to say what's up to Jesse, and as always tell them Jerm sent you!
