OK...we just had to share this because as far as Tampa Bay entertainment goes, you won't find any other better things to do in Tampa Bay than this. The Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee recently sent this our way, and we are sending it your way. So, take a look -
Producers of the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLIII Halftime Show are offering area residents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in Super Bowl XLIII, which will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Sunday, Feb. 1.
Around 2,000 excited fans are needed to be part of the audience that will be on the field during the halftime show featuring Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
No prior experience is required, but volunteers must attend all rehearsals, be over the age of 16, and register as part of a group that contains at least 10 members. Interested volunteers may log on to www.superbowlcast.com for more information and to register and view the rehearsal schedule.
Volunteers will get to be on the field as part of the biggest concert of the year. Watched by more than 148 million viewers in the U.S. last year, the Super Bowl is annually the nation’s highest-rated TV program. The game will be broadcast worldwide in more than 230 countries and territories.
Volunteers will not receive tickets to the game, but will be an integral part of the show. For all the details, visit www.superbowlcast.com.
That's it sports fans...start applying and let us know if you are one of the fans selected. I wish I could participate, unfortunately I'll be tied up with other Tampa Bay Super Bowl activities. So, stop back by and share your story.
Until then, check back for other things to do in Tampa Bay, along with updates on Tampa Bay nightlife, as well as where to eat, where to stay and where to experience Tampa Bay sports!
