Hey everyone! Jerm here with another announcement on what the gang over at the Tampa Bay Sports Commission has been up to.
Our Tampa Bay Sports Commission and Waste Management are partnering to help make local events more green. As the nation’s largest provider for recycling and environmental solutions, Waste Management is pleased to offer recycling services for cardboard, paper, plastics, glass bottles, aluminum cans and other materials for each Tampa Bay Sports Commission sponsored event within the Tampa Bay area.
“Waste Management is committed to enhancing the communities we serve through programs that help make them cleaner, greener and better places to live, said Rick Kania, Waste Management area sales director. Our partnership with the Tampa Bay Sports Commission will allow us to reach vast amounts of people to encourage more recycling in the Tampa Bay area.”
The Tampa Bay Sports Commission is focused on generating social and economic impact through the vehicle of sports and works with over 100 youth and amateur events on annual basis. These events produce over 100,000 hotel room nights annually and attract hundreds of thousands of visitors, impacting every area of the Tampa Bay community. This is a great partnership and is going to only get stronger in the coming years!
