Have you ever watched rowers gliding along the surface of the water and wished you could do that? Now you can!
The United States Rowing Association in coordination with Concept 2 is teaming with The Stewards Foundation locally to sponsor this Special Event in Tampa. It will be held on The Hillsborough River June 6, 2009 from 8AM to 2 PM. It is FREE and open to the public.
This event is designed to give everyone a taste of rowing. Except having the ability to swim, you need no other previous athletic experience. Anyone over the age of 12 is welcome to try the sport. (Parents must accompany anyone under 18, please).
Reservations are on a first come- first serving basis and space is limited so please email or call today. To sign up for a time slot, please contact Stewards Vice President, Denny Antram at (813) 205-4013 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
