Here’s your chance to see some of the biggest names in performing arts put together a truly unique performance with the students of the Patel Conservatory!

Snippets of seasons past, present and future from the ’ Broadway series will be performed by Patel Conservatory students in Showstoppers: A Musical Revue. The curtains open June 27-28 at 7 p.m. in the Jaeb Theater at the Straz Center.

The students, grades five through college, are being taught by some of the industry’s biggest names. Quentin Darrington, of Broadway’s Memphis: A New Musical fame, will be coaching, while Adam Wagner will adapt, direct and choreograph in addition to contributions from Los Angeles-based playwright and screen-writer Doug Cooney. This 60-minute non-stop burst of energy will feature Tony Award-winning songs and dances and tickets start at just $10 until June 26, after which the price goes up to $15.
