Ok, if you are a college basketball fun...you are going to love this!  Plus, if you are an SEC fan...then you better sit down!  With the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament makes its way to Tampa this week (well, tomorrow) SEC basketball legends will arrive for the 11th year of the SEC Basketball Legends Program.  

Featuring former greats from all 12 Southeastern Conference member institutions, these legends will be honored at the SEC FanFare on March 12-14.  Plus, each legend will be honored at halftime of his institution's first game at the tournament, so you better get your tickets quick! 

The 2009 class includes Melvin Cheatum, Alabama; Scotty Thurman, Arkansas; Doc Robinson, Auburn; Eugene McDowell, Florida; Shandon Anderson, Georgia; Louie Dampier, Kentucky; Ethan Martin, LSU; Keith Carter, Ole Miss; Tony Watts, Mississippi State; Grady Wallace, South Carolina; Paul “Lefty” Walther, Tennessee; and Phil Cox, Vanderbilt.

And for those who want to head out to the FanFare to see, and maybe meet them...here's the schedule -
Thursday, March 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Scotty Thurman, Arkansas; Louie Dampier, Kentucky; and Keith Carter, Ole Miss. 

Friday, March 13 from 11:30 a.m. to noon: Melvin Cheatum, Alabama; Shandon Anderson, Georgia; and Phil Cox, Vanderbilt. 

Friday, March 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Tony Watts, Mississippi State and Paul “Lefty” Walther, Tennessee. 

Saturday, March 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Julius “Doc” Robinson, Auburn and Ethan Martin, LSU.
