Tampa Regatta

Hey Sports fans! Tony here giving you an update on the wonderful world of Olympic Rowing that we have right here in Tampa Bay.
Stewards Foundation President and CEO, Tom Feaster, reported that Ryan White has been named the Head Rowing Coach for the program. This is very exciting news as Ryan is former captain and Northwest College Rowing Conference Champion at Pacific Lutheran University. The new coach is coming to Tampa from the White Rock Boathouse Rowing Programs in Dallas, TX where his teams earned several trips to nationals along with over 200 medals, and a state title!
Coach White’s primary challenge will be to continue the development and growth of youth rowing for boys & girls in both High School and Middle School in Tampa Bay.
For those not too familiar with what the Stewards Foundation accomplishes on an annual basis, they are a non-profit 501 (c)3 corporation. Their mission is to use the sport of rowing as a means of teaching teamwork responsibility to young adults in the Tampa Bay community.
