So after another riveting day of working in the extremely lucrative Advertising Industry, I decided to take up on an invite for a networking event at one of Tampa's premier restaurants, The Boizao Steakhouse.
I was tired and ready to go home, but the lure of complimentary drinks was just too much for this girl to pass up! By the time I got there the mixer was in full swing, so I signed in, slapped on an oh so fashionable name tag and made my way to the buffet table! No one should be forced to network on an empty stomach.
The spread was impressive. There was an assortment of meats, cheeses and Brazilian churasco as far as the eyes could see. After sampling one (ok maybe three) of everything, it was off to the bar for drinks. That's where I noticed these delicious mojito-esque drinks that everyone was sipping on. Come to find out, the drink is called a Caipirinha, which is the national cocktail of Brazil and also one of Boizao's specialties. If you leave Boizao without tasting one of these, you're missing out!
After a few Caipirinha's, I started networking and before I knew it, it was time to leave (AKA - the bar and free food were over). But looking back I can say that The Boizao Steakhouse was a great experience. I plan to come back and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for things to do in Tampa Bay.
Stay tuned for my next post and in the meantime feel free to respond to this post and share you experience at The Boizao Steakhouse or any other Tampa Bay Restaurants.
