Hello there blog fans, its the one and only Jerm here with a fun lifestyle update for ya. I got the opportunity to check out Gameworks the other day for the first time. Yes, I know I have lived here for six years and have yet to go out there, but hey I been busy so cut me some slack. Well not really busy, just lazy, but that's neither here nor there.
GameWorks is a pretty sick experience (for the cool impaired, sick means good). Guest can eat, drink, party and play, which i am happy to say I took full advantage of. I was there this past Thursday for the Outback Bowl Happy Hour Huddle for a night of food, fun, and games.
Being there took me back to the days when I was a young video game enthusiast, as to the left and right of me was video game heaven. Seems like only yesterday mother and father were yelling at me for spending their hard earned money on Street Fighter and Mortal combat.
It was a night of Tekken, After Burner, Star Wars racing games, and a little zombie target practice before my wrists begin to hurt. I guess I am not as young as I used to be as the years are starting to catch up to me...nonsense, I am only 27! Gameworks not only has the gaming situation sewn up, but the food and drinks were second to none as I dined on chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, pot stickers, past, fried chicken.
Indeed there is a treadmill in my future after having eaten all of that. I can say without question that I will be back at gameworks before another six years passes though. I had a blast, as the fun is endless whether you bring the entire family, or bring a date! For all of you meeting and event planners, gameworks is a great place to host events also, so whether its a corporate event, or birthday party, start planning your event here and let the games begin!
Check out game works and let me know how you liked it! Also, check out the website and sign up for the gameworks rewards program to get advanced notice of special offers and a ton of other benefits.
