Happy Monday Tampa Bay!  Jessica here with a Tampa Bay area events update... we all know what holiday is just around the corner, right??  St. Patrick's Day, of course!!!

With this in mind, it's time to gather your green clothes, put on your Irish hats, and come join the rest of Tampa in Channelside this Wednesday (March 17)!  That's right, the Irish infused fun and celebration will begin around 5:30pm with live entertainment on the courtyard stage of Channelside's Bay Plaza.

But it is suggested you arrive early to claim your spot on the Tampa Port Authority, just behidnd the Bay Plaza.... for what you ask?  Well, for the second year in a row, the Tampa Attractions Association (TAA) will dye the channel green to kick off the evening long celebration.  Using environmentally friendly liquid concentration, the dying of the channel will take place at 6pm on the dot, so don't miss this fabulous sight to see!

In addition, the Rough Riders will be there with one of their infamous floats, the Teddy Roosevelt Float, plying for the waters of Garrison Channel.  Also, Tampa's newest fireboat will be shooting green water fountains during the evening.

Food & drink specials will accompany the holiday celebration throughout the evening and everyone's invited to this family event.  The newly green channel will be sure to set the mood for undeniably original photo opportunities and tons of fun.  Irish themed food & drinks will keep the party going until 9pm or later!!

Don't miss out folks, I know I'll be there celebrating my Irish heritage!! Stay tuned for more exciting Tampa entertainment news and great things to do in Tampa Bay.  May the luck of the Irish be with you ~
