Lightning Game (Thursday)
Tonight the Tampa Bay Lightning will hit the ice to take on Minnesota Wild at 7:30 p.m. The Lightning look to stay hot for the fourth game on their seven-game homsetand. Right across the water on Harbour Island at Café Dufrain, Lightning fans can come in with their ticket or wear their gear and get a FREE beer. You can also hop on the water taxi at the docks and ride over to the game. Vegan Fest (Saturday)
The Fourth Annual Tampa Bay Vegan Fest returns with guest speakers, healthy living and eco-friendly vendors, a children’s area, live music, films, animal adoptions and vegan food. Craft Beer Oktoberfest (Sunday)
The Germans are taking of Raymond James Stadium for a Craft Beer Oktoberfest celebration that runs Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Bucs may be away, but the football game will still be on big screens! Tampa Theatre (Nightmare on Franklin Street) 15 Day film festival kicks off with a double feature of The Ring and Ringu, the Japanese film that inspired the 2002 blockbuster starring Naomi Watts. This Saturday is $5 Day at Tampa’s Museum of Science and Industry and will have a Safety Saturday theme. Families can learn how to stay safe with the help of Safe Kids Tampa, the city of Tampa Bay Hillsborough Country Fire Rescue. Admission also includes entrance to the IMAX film Great White Shark.
