Tampa’s Downtown on Ice (Fri-Jan. 5th)
Ice Skating outside in Tampa? Yup! This chilly, tropical wonderland tradition is back again for another year and we couldn’t be more excited! Tonight, they are open until 10 p.m. (Sat: 10am-10pm and Sun: Noon-9pm). $10 and socks is all you need. The cost covers skates and a 90 minute skate. 2014 Model Tampa Bay International Car Show, Tampa Convention Center
Vrooooom! Check out the slickest rides, test drive the newest luxury car models and experience the latest in car technology. Friday and Sunday, starts at Noon, Admission is $9.
Dirty Bourbon River Show with Naftaly Band, Skipper’s Smokehouse
Coined as “a gypsy circus rock” band, this 5-member group from New Orleans will return to Tampa for a show (they were a HUGE hit at the last Tropical Heatwave in Ybor). Plan to see a good mix of folk, jazz, blues, gypsy, circus rock. Tickets $10, 8 p.m.
Jim Beam Bourbon & Brew Festival: The Heights, downtown Tampa
More than 40 bourbons to taste, craft beers, BBQ, and live music from Locash Cowboys. Tickets $20 3 p.m www.BourbonAndBrewfest.com
Enchanted Tree Lighting and Street Party, Hyde Park Village
Kick off the holiday season with a special tree lighting ceremony. This family-friendly event is FREE and will feature live music, complimentary holiday cookies and cider, train rides, a bouncy house for the kids and more! FREE event 5 p.m.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, USF Sun Dome
Known most for their hit “Thrift Shop”, this rapper-producer duo turned heads with their hit single and made Goodwill cool again. This concert won’t break the bank, tickets range from $35-$45 and concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tampa Cigar Festival, Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park
The world’s largest cigar celebration, right here in the heart of Cigar City, Tampa. This event, hosted by Cigar Dave is a family-friendly event with a cigar lounge, vendors, a wine lounge and activities for the kiddos. Tickets $10 $125 (VIP) 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
