WOBtoberfest at WOB Westchase (Fri & Sat)
Earlier this week we told you about the annual WOBtoberfest event at World of Beer in Westchase featuring tons of beer and a live performance by TONIC on Saturday.  On Friday admission is only $5 before 7 p.m. and $10 after 7 p.m.  Saturday, admission is $15 before 5 p.m. and $20 after 5 p.m. www.WOBUSA.com   
Keith Urban at the Amp

ZooBoo at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo (Fri & Sat)
One of Tampa’s largest family friendly Halloween events is back for another year with haunted houses and trails, costume characters, boo houses and season lights.  Coolest thing about ZooBoo? Each spooky attraction has a “scare factor” rating so you can decide the scare level for your little goblins, and well… maybe you. Guests can also enjoy unlimited zoo rides in the dark! Brick-or-Treat (Sat & Sun)

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (Fri & Sat)
Oh my…. For those looking to be terrified be sure to get tickets this season to experience Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens.  This year prepare for tormenting surprises around every corner and unexpected terrors  from the evil 13 like #7 Surgeon, #4 Butcher, #13 Clown and the one I actually had the chance to come face-to-face with , #6 Voodoo Queen inside one of the newest houses, Death Water Bayou.  Her night servants roam with a zombie-like hunger and seek to grow her collection of minions of evil.  Check out my Howl-O-Scream “ScreamCam” video to see if I fell victim to her spell (and turn your speaker’s down… I was terrified!) Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival
Starting tonight, Tampa Bay’s longest-running cinema showcase, the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival celebrates 24 fabulous years! The festival opens at Tampa Theatre and features The Happy Sad, a flick that exams bisexual curiosity among two Manhattan couples, one white and straight and the other black and gay.  For the first time ever, the festival’s opening night will be FREE.  The movie begins at 8 p.m., but get there early to experience festivities at 7 p.m. on the orange carpet. NEW exhibit, Dinosaurs: Land of Fire & Ice at Glazer Children’s Museum
Take a step back in time with the kids and check out volcanoes and ice caves at Glazer’s newest traveling exhibit featuring prehistoric predators. Encounter touchable dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes while investigating with clues of what they left behind.  The exhbit features three distinct sections: Land of Fire (a warm dinosaur environment), Land of Ice (a cold dinosaur habitat), and a Field Research Station (complete with a big dig component).
