Tampa listen up! Lisa here, to update you about a sweet Tampa Bay Dinning opportunity.Charity Wine Dinner!

Cafe Dufrain is hosting a charity wine dinner on Thursday, December 9th. It will start at 6pm and end at 9pm. Executive chef Ferrel Alvarez, who is Tampa's newest Top Chef will be there to rub elbows with all you other foodies!

This dinner is four courses, and each course is paired with a different wine selection. The first course will be Molasses Brown Sugar Cured Duck Breast, paired with Gruet 'Blanc de Noir', nv, Sparkling, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The second course will be Grilled Scallops paired with a King Estate Pinot Gris, from Willamette Valley, Oregon. After that will be Boar Tenderloin paired with a Pinot Noir (my favorite), from Livermore, California. And last but certainly not least, dessert. A Dark Chocolate Panna Cotta with Croft, Tawny Port, from Portugal. I did not give away all of the details of the menu, just enough to make you mouth water.

The cost of the dinner is $125 inclusive. But here's the thing, all of the proceeds go to the Voices for Children of Tampa Bay. Please  since this is an exclusive event only able to seat 60!

Voices for Children of Tampa Bay advocates for abused, neglected and abandoned children in Hillsborough County. There is a law in Florida that says ever abused, neglected, and abandoned child must be represented by a Guardian ad Litem in court. This sounds like a good thing, there just aren't enough Guardian Advocates for all of Hillsborough's children in need.

They are a non-profit oCome help the children of Tampa Bay!rganization whose mission is to provide volunteer guardians, financial means and promote awareness for this need for Guardian ad Litem to continue this vital services to children. Right now only 67% of the children in need are able to be given this valuable service. Their goal is to make it 100%.

It is the season of giving, and this Tampa Bay Entertainment is trying it's best to help those in need. This cause, like so many is a very worth one. So come on out and help Tampa!

That's all for now, but stay tuned for more Things To Do In Tampa Bay, and other Tampa Florida News updates!
