That's right folks...we're talking about Chris Berman today. Last night I had the privilege to attend the Legends for Charity Event at the Westin Harbour Island. Now, let me tell you, as far as things to do in Tampa Bay for Super Bowl XLIII, this tops the list of Tampa Bay entertainment.
This was a night filled with honoring ESPN broadcaster Chris Berman with the Pat Summerall award for everything he has done for the community around him. Plus, all of the proceeds raised through the live and silent auctions (which were a ton of fun) and through ticket sales were donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital!
There were other celebs there too - it was hosted by Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic, radio hosts of ESPN's Mike and Mike in the Morning. it also featured guest speakers Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly and ESPN's Tom Jackson.
By the end of the night, we were all very excited to be part of this event. But, the events continue tonight and if you are looking to get involved, check out some of our other blogs and even our twitter, www.VisitTampaBay.com/twitter, and facebook, www.VisitTampaBay.com/facebook, pages.
And, make sure you stop back by and let us know if you went to any of these cool events and how it was.
Until next time...keep, going, all, the, way!!!!!!!!
