Hi everyone! Travis here with some exciting news that happening in historic Ybor City. Here's the news, straight from the horse's mouth (sorry, I had to say that):
Centro YBOR is beginning 2010 by announcing some pretty exciting news, the opening of four new Tenants at Centro YBOR. The Center whose tag line is “Where Entertainment Happens” is giving customers four more reasons to check out the shopping and entertainment hotspot in Historic Ybor City.
The Center, located on 8th Avenue between 15th and 17th Streets, is the new home to Tribeca ColorSalon, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company, Hamburger Mary’s (all which opened in late 2009), and Wear Me Out (formerly The Mermaids Slipper) which will open their doors this week.
In this current economic climate, Center ownership is aware of the challenges that faces today’s retailer, “It says a lot about Centro YBOR’s location and traffic draw to be able to attract and open these four new Tenants. To remodel and open these spaces in a quick, timely fashion and to be currently servicing customers at top performance is an out of the park home run for Centro YBOR” says M & J Wilkow Senior Vice President David Harvey.
The “official” Grand Opening / Ribbon Cutting for these new tenants will be at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, January 19th. The Festivities will start at Tribeca ColorSalon with a tour of the new Salon and conclude at Hamburger Mary’s with a short cocktail and food tasting reception.
Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio will be officiating along with members of the Tampa and Ybor City leadership Community. Members of the leadership community and media are welcome at this event.
