Lisa back, with another fun event happening this fall season! One of the most recognizable locations in Tampa, is The Henry B. Plant Museum, and they are hosting an event to showcase this gorgeous landmark.

Back in 1891 the gardens of the Tampa Bay Hotel (now the Henry B. Plant Museum), were considered the most exotic in the country. To showcase the gardens and landscape design of the 19th century, they have an exhibit called Strolling in a Perfect Paradise. To compliment this exhibit, they are offering a special tour of the park, Conversations in the Park.

Conversations in the Park is scheduled at 10:30am on Saturdays, October 23rd and November 13th. This event is open to the public and is FREE(my favorite kind!), but please do make reservations by contacting Heather Trubee at 813-258-7304 or emailing her at htrubee@ut.com.

Also in conjunction with Strolling in a Perfect Paradise, there will be a photography contest. What a fun way to incorporate Arts and Culture in Tampa Bay. The top prize for the contest is $175, and having the picture displayed during the Victorian Christmas Stroll. The top ten, will get their photos displayed on the Museum's website and Facebook page. For complete rules please go to the website.

Strolling in a Perfect Paradise continues through December 31st. What a unique way to enjoy the amazing Tampa Bay Weather we have in the fall. I am sure this will be a beautiful outing.
