The Tampa Bay Sports Commission presented the Pro-Motion Sports Southeast High School Football Combine on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium. This annual event began in 2004 with the idea of showcasing local football talent in hopes of increasing college scholarship opportunities. The prospects are evaluated in several physical tests including speed and strength, along with other skill tests.

This year, over 350 football prospects displayed their football skills in an event that attracted 28 college football coaches. Combine videos were produced and sent upon request to college coaches unable to make it to the combine.

The Glazer Family Foundation presented the Sports Commission with a check for $62,000 to support its youth programs (such as high school combines and all-star games). Under Armour contributed shirts, wristbands and socks to all of the participants.
