Hey everyone...Travis back with a Tampa tourism update for you all. The first official gallery in the Glazer Children's Museum has officially been completed. GREAT NEWS!!!!! Here's the scoop, straight from the museum -
Imagination is inspired in Water's Journey, a beautiful 30-ft climbing structure where visitors make their way through the aquifer, up to the city, through stylized tree leaves, and on to the rain clouds. Designed to make children think like a drop of water, this climbing structure includes 16 miles of steel cable that form a netting around pods and platforms suspended from the ceiling.
Visitors of all ages can operate a rainstorm cloud producing a watery rain over the port of Tampa Bay water area located beneath them in KidsPort. (as a side note, Water's Journey has been generously underwritten by South West Florida Water Management District...so let's thank them!)
This is very exciting news as the museum prepares to open later this year. So keep an eye out for more updates. If you want more information about the latest happening at the Children's Museum, just visit www.glazermuseum.org.
And we'll do our best to keep you updated with the latest and great news, as well as more Tampa Bay area events, and other great things to do in Tampa Bay.
