Tampa Bay Sports CommissionHello again fellow Bloggers. This is Tony from the Tampa Bay Sports Commission checking in. It has been a pretty exciting week of sports in Tampa.. Last Saturday, December 11th we had our annual Game Day of Champions event followed by our High School All-Star Football Game.

Both events took place at Raymond James Stadium. Game Day of Champions consisted of eight Pee Wee teams that represented five different youth football programs across Hillsborough County. There were four games played total throughout the day where the champions from each league faced off against each other based on age and weight limits determined beforehand…

The High School All-Star Football game featured 90 players from local schools across Hillsborough County split into East and West teams. These squads went head to head for four quarters under the stadium lights. No doubt it was a great thrill for all the athletes involved!
