Cruisin’ Country Party, Yacht Starship
Where the water meets the woods… this week it’s country y’all (cowboy boots welcomed)! Enjoy a live performance from Clemons Road as you cruise on-board the Yacht Starship and enjoy food and wine festivals. 21 and up only (bring your ID). Best of Tampa Bay, David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts
Tampa’s longest running culinary fundraiser (going on its 29th year) is back with some of the tastiest dishes from the top restaurants in Tampa Bay! More than 40 of Tampa Bay’s best restaurants, caterers and vendors will participate in this year’s event with various entrée samplings, luscious desserts, beer and premium drinks.  Participating this year… Armani’s , Aqua, Irish 31, Square One Burger and the Straz Center’s own Maestro’s Restaurant and microbreweries including Cigar City Brewing, 7th Sun, Coppertail Brewing Company and Two Henry’s.  Event starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $80 and include open bar, food tastings and entertainment.   For more information visit: www.strazcenter.org

Chillounge Night, downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
Everything about this event screams ohhh la laaa y’all! Fancy cabanas, delicious food vendors, cash bars a Brazilian samba parade, fashion show, live music and even a fancy fireworks show! Festa Italiana, Tampa’s Historic Latin Quarter, Ybor City
Festa Saturday! Spend the day with your friends and family as Festa Italiana Weekend kicks off with the Annual Bocce Invitational at the corner of 7th Ave. and 18th street in Ybor City.  There will also be an Italian Idol Singing Competition at Carmine’s on 7th and a Homemade Vino Competition. Bicycle Bash, Cotanchobee Fort Broke Park
Now in its seventh year, this family-fun FREE event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. promotes bicycling for a healthy lifestyle, focuses on transportation and also a great chance to get updates on the regional proposed trail systems like the Upper Tampa Bay Trail.  Tampa Mayor and the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office will be on hand for a meet and greet as well as teach safety classes and more.
