The Florida Orchestra has eight awesome performances coming up in April and I am going to tell you all about them!

April 6th and 7th Alastair Willis conducts this morning concert that features Principal Clarinet Brian Moorhead on a program with Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, Beethoven's Egmont Overture, and J. Strauss, Jr's Tales from the Vienna Woods.

On April 6th the concert will take place at 10am at Ruth Eckerd Hall, and April 7th will be at 11am at the Progress Energy Center for the Arts, Mahaffey Theater. Ticket prices range from $24 to $42 and there will be complimentary coffee and donuts.

April 8-10th: Hot! Hot! Hot! A Night at the Copa. Grammy Award-winning arranger Victor Vanacore leads the orchestra in a night of Latin dance rhythms, with award-winning ballroom dancers.

Friday (April 8th) night the show will be at 8pm, Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Ferguson Hall; Saturday (April 9th) night at 8pm, Progress Energy Center for the Arts, Mahaffey Theater; Sunday (April 10th) at 7:30pm, Ruth Eckerd Hall. Tickets range from $20 to $67.

And lastly from April 15-17th: Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3. Lilya Zilberstein performs Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3. Friday's show will be at 8pm, Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Ferguson Hall; Saturday will be 8pm, Progress Energy Center for the Arts, Mahaffey Theater; Sunday at 7:30pm, at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Tickets range from $20 to $67.
