The 13th Annual Oktoberfest celebration is coming to town!

This celebration boasts being the “largest and most authentic Oktoberfest in the Bay area” with an average 20,000 to 25,000 attendees annually. The party lasts all weekend long, October 24-26 at Tampa Bay Downs.

This year, Oktoberfest will include live German music and authentic German dance shows. To celebrate, there will also be a carnival with a Midway and traditional carnival rides. Don’t forget to register for the contests. This year compete at log sawing, stein holding or keg tossing. There will also be an arts and crafts show at the tented festival.

And what kind of an Oktoberfest would it be without a variety of German foods and drinks. This year there will be seven varieties of beer (both German and American) on tap.

This is one of the many Tampa Bay area events you won't want to miss. So put on your lederhosen and come on out to the Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar for some weizenbock, schnitzel and traditional German arts and culture in Tampa Bay.
