Ok, it's not what you think...
The next film in the Global Lens Film Series, “Bunny Chow,” about a road trip to a music festival, will be screened in Reeves Theater at The University of Tampa at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 25. Andrew McAlister, assistant professor of communication, will lead a discussion following the film.
The screening is free for UT students and faculty and members of the Gasparilla Film Festival. “Bunny Chow” follows up-and-coming comedians as they find humor in relationships, hang out with friends and celebrate life on a road trip to Oppi Koppi’s largest music festival. Bunny chow is a metaphor for Johannesburg’s mix of races, cultures and attitudes.
The screening is part of the Gasparilla Film Festival and is sponsored by UT’s Department of Communication, Film Media Arts. For more information, visit www.globalfilm.org and www.gasparillafilmfestival.com.
Don’t miss this great Tampa Bay area event. See you at the movies!
