Lisa here with an exciting update from one of our new Tampa Florida Attractions.
The Tampa Bay Weather is supposed to be AMAZING this weekend and I have an event for you to enjoy right along with it.
Saturday November 6th (this Saturday), the Dali Museum will celebrate along the waterfront during "Party in the Park." The Dali Museum is participating in the St. Petersburg's Waterfront Parks Centennial Celebration (yay for birthday parties!)
The event will run all day, and will feature entertainment from many different organizations. Some of the entertainment includes Dalinian crafts, a membership drive, family picnic and live music. The Downtown Trolley will also be running throughout the day.
The Dali Museum stage is located across the street from the New Dali Museum, at the corner of Bayshore Drive S.E. and 5th Avenue S.E. Their events will start at 10:30am and run until 3:30pm. There will be a drumline performing (I love drumlines), Theater productions (I also love theater productions), and two performances by Freddy Monetez y su Son a Latin performer. Sounds like a pricey event, but it's not. IT'S FREE!!!!
The Party in the Park is a year long celebration for the cities Centennial Birthday (That's my kind of Birthday party!), and it is to honor the decisions of early business and civic leaders, acknowledge those who have contributed to expanding waterfront parks, and looks for ways to improve and maintain the great waterfront of St. Petersburg.
If you're looking for Things to do in Tampa Bay, this is a great FREE event, and fun for the whole family.
