Hey everyone!  Travis back with more information about some Tampa Bay entertainment from our friends at the Museum of Science and Industry (also known as MOSI)!

Now students can spend their break celebrating Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday at MOSI’s Spring Break Camps. they can take part in thrilling competitions and shows featuring invention, creativity, and fun.  And Friday will feature Leonardo’s Birthday Bash with cake and a catapult versus tank joust.

Kindergarten through third graders will have the opportunity to participate in extreme toy races and LEGO building challenges. They’ll also be encouraged to stretch their imagination with odd ways to create art during the “Wild Imaginations” camp.

Fourth through eighth graders participating in the “Top Secret Engineers’ camp will solve everyday problems with cunning secret tricks. They will also design lunar and martin colonies and other science fiction designs and hold a futuristic science fair.

A little info about MOSI's camps - MOSI’s Summer Science Camps are also open for registration. For 30 years, MOSI’s summer science camps have been creating enriching experiences that are both fun and memorable. Classes are offered for children age 2 through high school, in a variety of subjects.

To get all of the information you need, just Visit www.campfun.org or call 813-987-6000 to reserve a space.  I can tell you from personal experience (although I am much older now), that the MOSI camps are AMAZING fun!
